How does an antibody test work?
This is an IgG / IgM test which will tell you whether your immune system has produced antibodies in response to the virus. The test requires a finger prick blood sample and must be performed by a trained clinician. You will receive rapid results at your appointment.
When can I have the test?
This Covid-19 test should be taken 7-14 days after your symptoms have passed. This ensures the accuracy of the test (98.2%).
How will I get my results?
You will receive your results just 10 minutes after providing your sample. This test is ideal if you are looking for an urgent antibody test with immediate results. After your qualified clinician has completed analysis of your sample, you will be given a signed and completed copy of the Better2Know Rapid Test Results Report.
What if I test positive?
A positive test result indicates that you have been exposed to Covid-19 and your immune system has produced antibodies in response to the virus. If you have had no symptoms for at least 7 days, you should have some level of immunity to Covid-19 and may not be able to transmit the virus to others or become infected by it again.
