What is the Hepatitis Screen?
Our Hepatitis Screen is designed for anyone who has a particular concern about Hepatitis. There are many different types of Hepatitis; this screen tests for the most common strains. Our Hepatitis Screen requires an incubation period of 28 days. This is the length of time between any incident of concern and your test.

- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
Which samples are needed?
You will need to give a blood sample for this screen. There are no fasting requirements before this, or any other Better2Know test.
You can add on other tests to this screen if you would like to, just ask the booking team or choose the tests you want online.
How will I get my results?
Usually we will call you with your results when they are all back from the laboratory. If you would prefer a different method, please let our booking team know when you make your booking.
What happens if I test positive?
Hepatitis infections can vary in both the body's reaction to the infection and the treatment that may be offered to you. Your Better2Know doctor will refer you to a specialist who will be able to help you further.
