HIV testing and STI screening for you
If you are sexually active, worried about HIV or other STIs and want peace of mind, we strongly recommend you get a Full STI screen or an HIV test. These STI screens include tests for many sexually transmitted diseases and results are available quickly. In most cases, a Full STI screen is sufficient but if there are visible lesions or warts on your genitals, mouth or anus, you should consider tests for Herpes, Syphilis and Genital Warts, available through our Blemish Screen.
All our locations around the UK offer HIV testing and STI Screens.
There are three basic kinds of HIV tests depending on when you may have been exposed. There is a 28 day HIV test (for exposure at least 28 days before your HIV test), and Instant HIV test (for exposure at least 26 days before your HIV test) and a 10 day HIV test (for exposure 10 days before your HIV test - this test is only available as part of the Early Detection Screen). If you want an HIV test, please refer to the table above.
If you need an HIV test certificate for a visa or work, our clinics can provide you with one. Please request this at the time of booking.
